FREE 45 minute INITIAL CONSULTATION

I offer everyone an initial free consultation (except a stop smoking session). This lasts for about 45 minutes and allows you to discuss your problem with me and gives you the opportunity to ask questions about hypnotherapy. At the end of the consultation, you will be able to come to an informed decision as to whether you wish to proceed.

If you decide to proceed, I will normally make a formal appointment for you on another day, but sometimes I can proceed straight away. I am typically booked for a couple of weeks ahead. After the consultation I shall be able to give you an idea of how many sessions you may require.

The majority of problems can be resolved in anything between two and four sessions. I typically do not go beyond three sessions. It does depend on how you respond and how difficult your problem is. Hypnotherapy is a rapid and brief therapeutic technique, and it recognizes that no one wants to spend hard earned money on a therapy any longer than needed.

I am often asked "can I address more than one problem or issue in the same session"
The answer is "it depends". If the problems are reasonably closely related, then often you can address both problems in the same session, and it saves time and money. If, however, the problems are poles apart, then it can be impossible or indeed unwise, as the unconscious mind might get over burdened, and then neither issue is addressed adequately or solved.

THE HYPNOTHERAPY SESSION and FEES

Each session normally takes an hour and a half and is tailored to you specific requirements.

FEES are $160 per session, (excepting smoking cessation).

Smoking Cessation is one single session lasting two and a half hours, and it comes with a 'guarantee' that you can come back to me for one year, free of charge, as many times as necessary, if you go back on the habit. Fee is $350.
If couples come for stopping smoking, I give a discount of 33% for each couple.The guarantee applies to each couple separately

Everything disclosed by you to me remains strictly confidential and is not disclosed to anyone without your specific written permission. At all times I adhere to the strict code of ethics of the National Guild of Hypnotists and the Oregon Hypnotherapy Association.

I record a CD, (or a tape if your wish), for all sessions, if you so desire, and with your specific permission. There is no extra charge.

Be assured that I will use techniques that I deem most appropriate and which will enable you to move on as quickly as possible.

I will be teaching you techniques for use by yourself outside my consulting rooms, including self-hypnosis, which will be beneficial in assisting you reaching the goals that we set at the first session.
